Graduate in Medicine in 1980, specialist in Anesthesiology in 1983, specialist in Dentistry in 1990.

- Former hospital assistant in anesthesiology and intensive care at the ASO Chieri (TO) and the ASO MOLINETTE (TO) – Regione Piemonte.

From 1993 he is professor of oral medicine in the Dental School at the Torino University.

Lecturer in “Special Needs in Dentistry” and “Conscious Sedation in Dentistry” in a postgraduate Master titled “Oral Medicine and Special Needs in Dentistry”- School of Medicine, University of Torino.

Lecturer in “Medical Emergency in Dental Clinic” in a postgraduate master titled “EMDOLA: European Master Degree Oral Laser Applications”, University of Parma.

Member of the European Association of Oral Medicine ( EAOM ) , an active member and former Director of the Società Italiana di Patologia e Medicina Orale ( SIPMO ) , founding member and Director of the Cenacolo Odontostomatologico Torinese.

Member of Associazione Italiana di Sedazione in Odontostomatologia (AISOD) and Associazione Italiana di Anestesiologia in Odontoiatria (AINOS).
